Happy Monday! I thought I’d do a little follow up after talking about birth control in the previous chat. I had a good talk with my doctor last week about the birth control I use. I’m going to do my own research as well, but I’m glad that I asked the questions I wanted to. I felt heard. I also went into this appointment knowing what I wanted, and understanding that at the end of the day, I would have to make the final decision. Don’t be afraid to ask your doctor questions. Not every doctor is kind or helpful. You may even have to switch to a different doctor, but you have the right to ask questions and make informed decisions. Patients should always be heard. You shouldn’t have to feel pressure to do something, or a lack of peace because you don’t have enough information. Let me know your thoughts in the comments section.
